George is a tiny abandoned calf that we have been raising here on the Ridge since September.
George has had a rough go of it. His momma was a young new momma and didn't have much interest in taking care of him so we had to bottle feed him from day 2 of his life. George was so weak! He has been doing much better though and today fought through several calfs to get his bottle. He will be a big boy soon. At least in this picture he was relaxing in some of our lush green pasture. Notice the high quality of our grass which really makes a difference in the way our beef tastes.
